Plastik Sanatlar Plastic Arts Fotoğraf ve Video Photography and Video Sanat Fakültesi Faculty of Art Plastik Sanatlar Fotoğraf ve Video Plastic Arts Photography and Video Plastik Sanatlar Bölümü; geleneksel sanat eğitimi teknikleri ile çağımızın sanat anlayışına uygun, yenilikçi yaklaşımları bir araya getiren uzman bir program sunmaktadır. Plastik Sanatlar Bölümünün dört yıllık lisans programı; çağdaş sanat eğitimi bağlamında resim, baskı resim, heykel, cam ve seramik alanlarında uygulamalı disiplinlerarası eğitim vermektedir. Bu bölümün öğrencileri uygulamalı alanlarda aldıkları eğitimin yanı sıra ilgili teorik eğitimlere de süreç boyunca devam etmektedir. Plastik Sanatlar Bölümü Programı; öğrencilerin sanatsal uygulamaların, entelektüel ve eleştirel sorgulamanın bir parçası olarak kendilerini Sanat Fakültesi, çağdaş sanat kuramları ve yaratıcı sanat pratiklerini çok disiplinli ve disiplinlerarası eğilimler içerisinde bağdaştırmayı ve geliştirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. ARUCAD Sanat Fakültesi, Plastik Sanatlar ve Fotoğraf ve Video Bölümü olmak üzere iki bölümden oluşmaktadır. Art Faculty is committed to the accommodation and development of contemporary art theories and creative art practices within multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary trends. ARUCAD Art Faculty is comprised of two departments: Plastic Arts Department and Photography and Video Department. geliştirmeye teşvik edildikleri bir programdır. Program, uygulamalı teknik eğitim, eleştirel düşünce ve sanat tarihsel perspektif bağlamı arasındaki üçlü bir yapı üzerine inşa edilmiştir. Yine bu program bağlamında; uygulama odaklı sahip olduğumuz birçok stüdyo ve atölye ile yaratıcı düşünce için işbirlikçi stratejiler sunulmaktadır. Güzel sanatlar, felsefe, psikoloji, tasarım, teknoloji ve doğal bilim dallarının bir araya geldikleri seminer ve derslerle desteklenmektedir. Deneyimli öğretim kadrosu ve geniş stüdyo, atölye ve laboratuvar olanakları sayesinde öğrenciler, yerel, ulusal ve uluslararası ölçekte elle tutulur bir fark yaratma şansını elde edeceklerdir. ARUCAD özünde deneysellik barındıran bir yaklaşımla yaratıcı bir platform ve pratik uzmanlık alanlarını keşfetme konusunda öğrencilerine özel bir deneyim sunmaktadır. Sanat odaklı bir Üniversite olması sebebiyle Fotoğraf ve Video Bölümü de, hem görsel hem de çağdaş yaratıcı uygulamalardaki disiplinlerarası yansımaları derinlemesine irdelemektedir. Fotoğraf ve Video Bölümü’nün dört yıllık lisans programının yapısı, öğrencilerin kendilerini sanat ve yaratıcılık odaklı ilişkiler içerisinde yenilikçi bir biçimde ifade etmelerine ve hedeflerine ulaşmalarına yardımcı olma düşüncesi üzerine kurulmuştur. Programın çağdaş uygulamaları, sanatın ne olduğuna ve yaratıcılık sürecinin ne zaman sanat haline dönüştüğüne dair farklı yaklaşımların haritasının çıkarılmasıyla ilişkilidir. Güncel gelişmeler tarafından formüle edilen oldukça önemli sanat biçimleri olarak fotoğraf ve videonun birer araç olarak telaffuz edilmeleri üzerine temellendirilmiştir. The Department of Plastic Arts offers a specialist program that combines traditional techniques with innovative approaches to making art. The four-year BA degree program in Plastic Arts carries the vision of contemporary art making that resides in the fields of painting, printmaking, sculpture, glass making and ceramics, along the side integral practices of interdisciplinary studio approaches where students can improve their theoretical and practical creative skills. The program is built on the triadic bond between technical training, critical thinking and historical perspective, where students are encouraged to develop their artistic practice as part of intellectual and critical enquiry. A wide range of practice-led studio and workshops offer collaborative strategies for creative thinking, complemented by lecture and seminars where the visual arts and history meet across the fields of philosophy, psychology, architecture, design, technology and the natural sciences. Students will gain an opportunity to make a tangible difference on a local, national, and international scale with guidance from an exceptional staff and access to incomparable technical and studio resources. Studios and lectures are led by a core team, as well as cross-faculty staff members, exposing students to instructors who have expertise and specialisms in a variety of areas. The Department of Photography and Video is structured on the pressing problems in both visual and contemporary creative practices, generating research deeply with interdisciplinary reflections as the university of ARUCAD is a dedicated creative arts school offering students a unique experience to explore a creative platform and practical areas of expertise at the core of an experimental approach.
