Service 781-286-2602 Price Subject to Change without notice T 13th Annual Revere Beach Memorial Sept. 15 at Reinstein Bandstand Hosted by the City of Revere and Revere CARES he Annual Revere Beach Memorial is a candlelight vigil for families and friends who wish to remember a loved one who died due to an overdose. The Revere CARES Coalition and the City of Revere are again organizing this touching event – for Sunday, September 15, at the DCR William G. Reinstein Bandstand on Revere Beach (rain or shine). The event will begin at sunset (approximately 7:00 p.m.) and end around 8:00 p.m. Individuals can register a name to be read Candidate Richard Ireton will be having a Meet and Greet Sunday, August 18th, at 9:00 AM at Dunkin Donuts, 30 Squire Road, Revere. There will be complimentary coffee and donuts served. by contacting Revere CARES at 781-485-6440 before 3 p.m. on Sunday the 15th or by arriving between 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m. on the night of the event. Participants are invited to “Let’s talk about Revere’s concerns and needs” bring a photo of the loved one to be placed on the remembrance table or boards. The program of the memorial consists of an introduction, inspirational readings/poems, lighting of candles, reading of names of those being remembered, with a fire bell after each name, closing remarks, the Serenity Prayer, and music on the beach. The memorial arose due to the work of the former Revere CARES Coalition’s Opiates Task Force, which in 2005 documented the depth and breadth (Political Adv.)
