For the first time, the Boston Red Sox brought the 2018 World Series trophy along. Also on hand were the Red Sox mascots, Wally and Tessie; the Boston Bruins mascot, Blades; and comic book characters Spiderman, Captain Marvel and Captain America. Medford Invitational Challenger League CEO Ron Giovino said 70 athletes played two separate games at Challenger Day.
