All in all 294 students in grades 7-12 achieved either High Honor Roll or Honor Roll recognition; 111 young people hailing from Malden were part of the list. To be on the Honor Roll a student needs to finish the quarter with no grade lower than a B-; to be on the High Honor Roll a student needs to finish the quarter with no grade lower than an A-. Since its inception in 1998, MVRCS has educated students from the communities of Everett, Malden, Medford, Melrose, Stoneham and Wakefield. Bob Leon, an entomologist from General Environmental Services Inc., will give an educational presentation on the rodent life cycle, breeding habits and current rodent control measures. There will also be a question and answer period. Please join us and learn what environmental conditions contribute to and hinder the rodent population in a city.
