Community Conversation: Advancing Racial Justice in our Communities will take place on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 6:00-7:30 pm. Senator Lewis will be joined by a distinguished panel of experts, including Dr. Laurie Nsiah-Jefferson, Director, Center for Women in Politics and Public Policy at UMass Boston; Manjula Karamcheti, Melrose City Councilor and Co-Founder, Melrose Racial Justice Community Coalition; and Mai Du, Co-founder, Greater Malden Asian American Community Coalition. Senator Lewis and the panelists will explore issues of systemic racism and inequality, and concrete ways that we can tackle these issues and advance racial justice and equity in our communities and Commonwealth.
