SPAR now partnering with NAYS for coaches training! “The National Alliance for Youth Sports has partnered with over 3,000 organizations to aide and improve youth sports programs. Through SPAR, coaches will now have FREE access to online sport-specific training including education on rules, how to run a practice, and motivational techniques. Sign up to coach a team with SPAR this year and gain the confidence to coach our district’s children in any sport, at any level! TENNIS SPAR has tennis courts available in the following locations Frasch Park / Features 3 courts McMurry Park / Features 8 courts with one hitting wall + lights on timer Center Circle Park / Features 2 courts + lights on timer Carlyss Park / Features 2 courts + lights on timer Little Tennis Clinic This class will introduce tennis in a fun way, focusing on hand-eye coordination and basic stroke development Date: Tuesdays, March 9 & 16 // Ages: 4-7 years Time: 4:30PM-5:15PM Fee: Free, but must pre-register (337)527-2500 Center Circle Park, 80 Center Circle, Sulphur Youth Beginner Clinic This class will focus on fundamental stroke development through a variety of footwork drills and hand-eye coordination games, students will develop consistency using good form and technique.
