Annual Meeting & Awards O A Red Carpet evening at the Greenwich Regency Hyatt ver 270 members and guests walked the red carpet for the 2017 Fairfield County Annual Meeting and awards ceremony at the Greenwich Regency Hyatt on Friday, June 9th. The event opened with a cocktail hour and silent auction where guests mingled for an hour before dinner. Emceed by Gina Calabro, Fairfield County HBRA CEO, the evening included the annual membership update on the HBRA. Currently at 430 members, the organization has grown by 17% in the last year. President Chris Steiner- Steiner Inc., Sr. VicePresident Anthony DeRosa - DeRosa Builders, and Vice President Kim DiMatteo - DiMatteo Group, were re-installed for a second term. John Hertz - Hertz Construction was installed as Secretary. Also installed for a second term as a Board Director was Alex Shook - Pella Windows & Doors. 8 HBRA of Fairfield County | JUNE 2017 A check presentation was made to PSC Partners Seeking a Cure, the main charity selected to receive the proceeds from the 2017 Luxury Home Tour. Fifteen awards were presented to members for excellence in new home construction, land development, remodeling, allied supplies and services, and volunteerism to the organization. All were recognized for the accomplishments they have made within the home building industry and for their commitment to the HBRA and the Fairfield County communities. A live auction with Auctioneer Gene Seidman was held, and along with the silent auction raised over $9,000 for 3 local charities. Music and dancing followed.
