BUILDER SPOTLIGHT ERI Building & Design, LLC Kent Eppley started Eppley Renovations Inc. in 1984 as a general contracting firm. As the demand for quality building and construction in Fairfield County grew, so did the demand for convenience; it only seemed natural to add design services to the business for clients who wanted to coordinate everything under one roof. Mike Palumbo, joined forces with Eppley Renovations, Inc. in 1998 as an innovative designer and was the second individual to become a certified residential designer by the American Institute of Building Designers in the state of CT. Figuring they had outgrown their company name they changed the business name in 2000 to ERI Building & Design, LLC. Both partners believe that by using an established design/build firm, the homeowner can actually save time and money while streamlining the construction process which can help make a project both time and cost efficient.
