MESSAGE FROM THE CEO In 2016, The Home Builders and Remodelers Association (HBRA) of Fairfield County celebrated its 70-year anniversary. What a tremendous accomplishment for a non-profit trade association of builders, material suppliers, subcontractors, lending institutions, and many other businesses whose primary interest is in the promotion, protection and improvement of the building industry. Today, with over 400 members, the HBRA of Fairfield County continues to work for the interest of its members. As part of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) based in Washington, D.C., and the Connecticut State Home Builders and Remodelers Association (HBRA-CT) we give our members a voice on America’s housing industry, to defeat federal and state regulations, to solve industry problems and promote its growth. On the local level, we provide industry education and training, and exceptional networking and promotional opportunities. As the CEO, I’m happy to say that in my first two years at the HBRA, many changes have come about. Internally, we’ve adjusted staff, reviewed our programs and events to make positive changes, and enhanced the benefits of membership. The future will be important years for our association and the HBRA membership as we continue to strive to be one of the best local associations in the nation and stand behind our members to help their businesses flourish. 16 For the most current information, visit our website, www.buildfairfieldcounty.com | GINA CALABRO I hope that you find the Membership Directory to be a useful and valuable resource as it is filled with excellent information about the home building industry.
