A.R.K. News Page 4 A.R.K. News Farmers Market sorting has ended for the season. Between when we began May 18 to our last pickup August 17, we picked-up, sorted and delivered approximately 2800 lbs of donated produce. None of that would be possible without the VERY generous vendors at the Farmers Market and each one of you that helped pickup, sort and deliver. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for donating your time. Our backpack program has restarted for the school year. Once again, we will supply weekend backpack bags for kids at both Carnall and Cavanaugh Elementary schools. The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance is prepping the ground at Carnall to ready it for planting the fall crop. More information to come on harvesting events. Wesley UMC Newsletter September 2019
