Note from Pastor Jana February is often a month associated with love, renewal, and the promise of spring just around the corner. It is also the perfect time to reignite our spiritual passion through Dynamite Prayer—prayer that is bold, powerful, and expectant. In Acts 1:8, Jesus tells the disciples, *“You will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.”* The Greek word for "power" here is dunamis, the root of our word "dynamite." This reminds us that prayer is not meant to be weak or passive, but explosive, transformational, and full of divine energy. When we commit to prayer with faith and expectation, God moves in mighty ways. Many in our church are embracing this idea, praying boldly for revival, healing, and direction. The excitement is growing as we witness prayers being prayed, hearts being stirred, and new opportunities unfolding. When we pray with the confidence that God hears us and is at work, we step into a deeper relationship with the Spirit, who empowers us for ministry and mission. How can you practice Dynamite Prayer this month? Consider setting aside intentional time each day to pray specifically and boldly for what God is doing in your life and in our church. Use the book, Dynamite Prayer to pray daily, join Bible Study, come to worship, and so many ways to join. This February, let’s not settle for routine prayers. Let’s pray with faith, passion, and confidence, trusting that God’s power is at work. May this be a season of renewal, revival, and spiritual breakthrough in our church and community! In Christ, Jana
