Note from Pastor Jana As we enter this final month of the year, the season of Advent invites us to pause, reflect, and prepare. Advent is a time of anticipation, marked by the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love. In our worship and devotion this month, we are exploring these themes through the lens of Words for the Beginning, a powerful resource from Sanctified Art. These reflections remind us that in every beginning, God’s creative Spirit is present, offering us the courage to step forward in faith. As 2024 approaches, we give thanks for the many ways God has been at work in our church this year. From meaningful worship experiences to acts of service in our community, we have seen God’s love and faithfulness in abundance. Reflecting on this year, we celebrate the moments where we have grown together as a congregation and reached out to others with compassion and care. This is also a time to consider how we will carry the spirit of Advent into the new year. As a community, we are called to embody the themes of hope, peace, joy, and love throughout all seasons. How might you continue to live out these words in your daily life? Who in your life need to hear these words as well? During this time, we have many opportunities to invite new friends.
