STRENGTHENING THE NAVY The museum is proud to support Navy commands, Sailors, civilians, and families by providing physical space and intellectual resources at the museum for important ceremonies (retirement, change of command, promotion, commissioning) and for trainings and meetings. In 2018, the museum hosted more than 18,000 people for 332 such events. Free use of the facility for the Navy to conduct its business promotes fleet and mission readiness.
