MARK YOUR CALENDARS next market January 9-12, 2020 TUPELO FURNITURE MARKET ASSOCIATION The Tupelo Furniture Marketing (TFM) Association was founded in 1988 to better convey the buyer opportunities available through North Mississippi’s furniture manufacturers and the bi-annual Tupelo Furniture Market. The Market is operated under the auspices of the Association which is a nonprofit corporation governed by a 26-member Board. Marketing efforts are greatly enhanced through the cooperation and financial support of the Mississippi Department of Economic and Community Development. The Association is headquartered at the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in downtown Tupelo, Mississippi, where activities are coordinated and staff members provide operational, logistical and professional support to the many projects undertaken by the Association. Founded in 1948, the CDF is a nonprofit membership organization composed of civic, business, and professional leaders representing the Tupelo-Lee County Region, whose basic objective is to strengthen the region through economic and community development projects with emphasis on creating new jobs. CDF has been selected numerous times as one of the top ten industrial development agencies in the nation by Site Selection magazine. CDF’s job recruitment endeavors have resulted in Lee County becoming a manufacturing center for the State of Mississippi. 87
