CHILDREN’S SECTION Sponsored By Kirk Hammerton PC- Entries close: 31st July 2019 All entries to be displayed by 10am, Judging commences at 11am in the CHILDREN’S MARQUEE. Judges: Miss J Atkinson & Mrs G Atkinson. Steward: Mrs S Horsley Prizes: 1st £2.00 + free ice cream voucher, 2nd £1.50, 3rd £1. Entry Fee: 50p per class - Exhibits may be collected after 4.00pm All Entrants in Section A to receive a free ice cream voucher – Sponsored by Yorkshire Dales Ices. Prizes will be awarded in the following age groups (Age as at 31.07.18) A. Pre-school (Under 5 years). B. 5 – 7 years. C. 8 – 10 years. D. 11 – 16 years SECTION A – PRE SCHOOL 610. Decorate a biscuit for the president of Tockwith Show 611. A picture made from items collected on a walk (can include the addition of painting or colour) 612. A stuffed sock made into your favourite animal 613. A hand or foot print picture 614. Decorate a plant pot to give as a gift to your favourite adult 615. A playdough model of ‘my favourite food’ Section A children may be assisted by an adult. SECTIONS B, C & D – AGES: 5 – 16 YEARS 616. Create a stuffed sock to represent your favourite food (can include more than one sock) 617. Design and create a tie-dyed item of clothing 618. Design and create a new computer game (can be 3D with use of playdough, Lego, any recycled materials or could be a poster – ICT use allowed) 619. Make a collage of your favourite animal from pasta (can include colour/paint and can be 3D) 620. Design the 2020 Tockwith Show programme cover (winner to be printed on the 2020 shows programme) (can be completed using ICT) 621. Create a healthy dessert for a farmer (should be served on a dinner plate/dish with recipes included). 622. Make a string (1 metre total length) of bunting from paper or fabric 623. A selfie (picture of you) with ‘my best friend’ (can include animal best friends) 624. Create a scarecrow of your favourite super hero. The Kenny Lieske Cup 625. Hand make an item of jewellery to be worn by the President on show day 626. Create a 3D biscuit sculpture of something you might find in the countryside 627. Create a pizza for a stockman (pizza will be taste tested by the judge) 628. Create a thank you card to send to a parent or guardian 629. Create your favourite emoji from vegetables 630. Create a miniature garden on a dinner plate 631. A plant pot of any annual flowers grown by yourself 632. The biggest vegetable I have grown (can be any vegetable grown by yourself that’s big!)
