Walking Paths & Trails: There are many walking paths and roads in each section of LOW that are perfect for both walking and biking. There are also near by places for hiking. Our walking paths have been developed into Core Areas: Clubhouse/Main Marina, Sweetbriar Park, Greensprings Park, Spotswood Park, Golf Course and the various section roads. Fitness Center: Temporarly Located in the Lower Level of the Clubhouse (May 2018 - May 2019) Open Daily 5 AM-11 PM The Fitness Center boasts a wide selection of equipment encompassing both cardio and strength training. Members utilize the various spaces at the community center for programs. Activities range from bridge and knitting to excercise and Pickleball. There is something for everyone, programs for all ages and interests. Board meetings are also held there. The Community Center offers space for clubs, programs and events. Campground: 2 Available Spaces include: 2 Classrooms Computer Room Game Room Marion Pronk Hall Craft Room We offer a seasonal campground for RVs and campers. The Campground has 12 camper sites and limited sites for tent camping. The Campground Pavilion is also available for use by groups for special events. Reservations are necessary, but no fee is charged.

LOW Tennis Juniors: The Tennis Committee and LOWA are planning a series of Tennis Clinics for various age groups. “Drills and Games” for LOW Tennis Juniors will be held this summer break. The events will take place at Hollyfield Park, and will be overseen by players, volunteers and staff and led by the LOW Tennis Pro. Clinic time each day will be 9:30 - 11 AM, the 6-10 year olds will play July 30 & July 31. The 11- year olds and up will play August 1 & August 2. Both clinics will have open play August 3. For registration or more information, contact the Community Center staff at 540-972-9680. Tennis Lessons: Tennis lessons will be available this season from Brian Ratzlaff. Brian is a USTA certified Elite Professional with 25+ years of teaching experience. Lessons are currently available, by appointment, for private, semi-private or private groups; for first time players through advanced tournament players. Water Fitness: Water fitness classes are a high-energy, full body workout that is perfect for all fitness levels. Classes are designed so that participants can workout at their own pace. Each class is 45 minutes and starts with warm-up movements, followed by stretching, cardio and a strengthening component, followed by a cool down. Equipment provided. The cost of a season pass is $125 and the daily drop-in fee is $7. Registration will take place at 10:30 AM at the Sweetbriar Pool on Monday, June 11.
