1982 Chris Lambah Westminster is my current place of work, which means splitting my time between London and Shrewsbury where I live with my wife and 10 year old daughter. As the result of a wide and varied career, I have become a Learning & Development Specialist and my training programmes focus on engagement and participation: creating an excitement and a feeling of discovery. That’s what makes people want to learn and, it’s what makes people remember. 1989 Liz Welch (Clark) After TC, I studied Civil and Mechanical Engineering and pursued a career in PR, Marketing and Communications with Telewest Communications (now Virgin Media) and CAT (Caterpillar) and then went into retail, owning my own shop. Today I have my own property development business, manage the TC school uniform shop and have two boys at the School. It was the size of the School and the ability to know the pupils well that drew me back. At university I studied Medical Biochemistry and went on to work for Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries involved in brewing, marketing and sales. After working at the Coseley School as an unqualified teacher I was inspired to gain my teaching degree. 1994 Caroline Martin (Poppleton) At school I was a music lover and played the flute and saxophone in lots of concerts. After TC, a degree in Psychology and Italian at Exeter University, led to living and working in Sardinia. For many years I worked in Learning Design and Graduate Recruitment for Barclays. When I married my husband Josh we moved to Zurich for 7 years and had our 3 children; Seb (12), Henry (9) and Genevieve (7). We moved back to the UK in 2015 and now live in Leamington Spa in Warwickshire. I have fond memories of my time at the School, especially the endless summers of cricket, including those fantastic teas in the old pavilion! My life post TC began at Exeter University where I studied History and German and spent a year in Germany. Consequently I worked initially for a German plastics company before going on to lead their UK division for industrial products. In 2009 I returned to Wolverhampton to take on the family business, Kuhn Rikon, supported by my wife Vicky and our two sons, George (12) and James (10). 69
