SPOR T Squash and Racketball The squash team has improved consistently throughout the course of the academic year, with the addition of our talented squash coach, Chris Dawson. We played four home and away team fixtures, playing against Wrekin College and Solihull School. With each fixture, the team has learnt that squash is not just about playing different shots properly, but it is also a tactical game. There have been some great performances by our younger squad members with Anish Nicholas, Stefan Dumitrache and Davina Perrin all posting victories over much older opponents. Our standout performer is Solomon Shahar, who has taken his fabulous tennis skills and applied them to squash, dominating every opponent he plays. Chris has also introduced racketball to the coaching sessions this year which has been well received. Next year will see both squash and racketball ladders and the continuation of the extra-curricular clubs and fixtures.
