PREP ARA TOR Y SCHOOL Welcome to the Fabled City of Agrabah! This year’s Preparatory School Show took the audience to a mythical land across the desert sand; a land where fortunes can be made or lost, a land of treasure, magic and of course, wishes. Like the desert itself, rehearsals were hot and intense, but were certainly worth the effort as the Preparatory School pulled off their biggest, loudest and most colourful show yet. With stunning performances from the whole cast, exceptional costumes and set. With a little help from a fog machine, Aladdin was able to fly his princess Jasmine across the stage and prove that being the ‘diamond in the rough’ isn’t so bad after all. Huge thanks, as always, go to the whole team of staff, parents and friends backstage – we simply would not be able to stage productions such as these without your support, patience and genius. All our wishes were certainly granted with this one! Mel Lofting, Assistant Head (Preparatory School)
