Editors: Molly Carver, Katie Corcoran, Susan Spivey, Carly Rogers Associate Editor/Graphic Design: Joe Pohorence The Library has transformed my life by providing sources for education that I cannot get elsewhere. If I ever needed a quiet place to read or a book ordered in for school, I could always depend on the Library. As a homeschooling mom, I appreciate all the opportunity at our Library. I am a senior (who) cannot afford wifi or cable. I borrow DVD's, books, use the copy machine, and meet other seniors here. Thank you for your show of support for public libraries during the State’s biennial budget process! We appreciate the time you gave to share your personal stories about how the Library has impacted your life and why the Library matters to the community. As the budget process moves forward through the end of June, we will share updates on our web site and through our weekly e-newsletter. We are grateful for your enthusiastic response to legislators in support of the Library. In April, we celebrated National Library Week and thank you for celebrating with us. We received many comment cards about how the Library has transformed lives in the community and are pleased to share a sample of what we received below. When I was little I would go to Storytime and it helped me make friends. In the next several weeks, the Library will embark on the replacement of the flat roof. This project will last several weeks but should not interfere with access to the Library. Accessibility from Jackson Street will be maintained if the Columbus Avenue entrance is closed briefly to move equipment. Thank you for your patience during this important maintenance. We look forward to removing buckets now scattered inside the Library. We have a few new features in store for our annual summer reading event for all ages and look forward to having you join us. Have a wonderful summer! MOLLY CARVER | Executive Director
