STORYTIMES Babies and Books Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. May 7, 14, 21, June 11, 18, 25, July 9, 16, 23 A storytime for ages birth through 18 months consisting of 15 minutes of books, rhymes, bounces, and songs followed by 15 minutes of play and social time. Toddler Tales Wednesdays at 10:15 a.m. June 12, 26 , July 10, 17, 24 A storytime for children ages 18 months to 3 years consisting of books, rhymes, movement activities and songs. Story Stop Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. June 12, 26, July 10, 17, 24 Children ages 3 to 6 years and their caregivers gather for stories, rhymes, and songs with an occasional game or craft focused on a weekly theme. Sessions are designed using school preparedness concepts to help each youngster get ready for a lifetime of learning. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH The Sandusky Library is partnering with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to TWEEN/TEEN PROGRAMS Tween Tuesday Every Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Drop in to participate in a fun activity designed for 8–12 year olds each Tuesday afternoon. Each week will feature one of the following themes: Games & Fun, STEAM Building, Food & Fun, and Crafts & Fun. Summer Anime Club for Teens Wednesday, June 12 & July 11, at 3:00 p.m. Calling all Anime fans! Join our Teen Anime Club the second Wednesday of the month at 3 p.m. this Summer. Each month we will start a new anime and do an activity related to the anime. Make new friends and share in the fandom! TEEN HANGOUT Thursdays at 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. May 16, at 4:00 p.m. - Neon Paint Party Paint a glow-in-the-dark creation on an 8x10 canvas! We will paint in the light and then view our finished paintings under black lights! June 13, at 3:00 p.m. - Button Making Do you collect buttons and pins? Design your own at a DIY button making event. June 20, at 3:00 p.m. - Celebrate Your Plate Make (and eat!) delicious food with Miss Rebecca, from Ohio State University Extension SNAP-Ed. June 27, at 3:00 p.m. - Cryptid Keychains Sew your own cute cryptid keychain. Choose from Mothman or the Loch Ness Monster. July 11, at 3:00 p.m. - Faux Stained Glass Create your own faux stained-glass masterpiece. July 18, at 3:00 p.m. - Shark-Cuterie Boards Join us as we create shark themed charcuterie boards as we ramp up to shark week! July 25, at 3:00 p.m. - Celebrate Your Plate Make (and eat!) delicious food with Miss Rebecca, from Ohio State University Extension SNAP-Ed. August 22, at 4:00 p.m. - Make Your Own Cute Crochet Animal provide summer snacks to children between the ages of 4 and 18. Snacks will be distributed curbside Monday thru Friday from 12:00-12:45 p.m. beginning June 3. Each snack contains items from each of the 5 MyPlate food groups. Each snack is provided free of charge through the Children’s Hunger Alliance. Do you love to crochet, or would you like to learn how? Drop in to learn how to create a cute Amigurumi Animal.
