SUMMER SNACKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH The Sandusky Library is partnering with the Children’s Hunger Alliance to provide summer snacks to children between the ages of 4 and 18. Snacks will be distributed Monday thru Friday from 12:00-12:45 p.m. in the Frohman Room beginning June 5, 2022. Each snack contains items from each of the 5 MyPlate food groups. Each snack is provided free of charge through the Children’s Hunger Alliance. AFTERSCHOOL SNACKS will continue Monday through Friday from 4:00 - 4:45 p.m. until June 2. JUST FOR TEENS (AGES 12 - 17) Teen Anime Club Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. May 4: Sci-Fi Anime, June 1: Music Anime, July 6: Comedy Anime, August 3: Thriller Anime Each month we will be discussing different themes in anime. Out of this World: Eclipses and Planispheres Friday, June 23, at 10:00 a.m. Gene Zajac, NASA Solor System Ambassador, presenter Gene Zajac is back with an out of this world astronomy update. 2023 and 2024 are big years in astronomy with a partial eclipse in 2023 and Sandusky in the path of totality for the eclipse on April 8. 2024. Come learn about the upcoming eclipses and other new space developments plus make your own planisphere at this family program.
