The hoods have a male and female interlocking system for connecting line guards. The hoods come with a standard eye for installation with hot sticks. The hood has a 35kV, 46kV and 69kV rating when used with equivalent rated line guards. Hoods are tested per ASTM specifications. The Cross Arm Guards come with a standard eye for installation with hot sticks. The Cross Arm Guard is rated at 15kV phase to ground. Fits distribution and sub transmission arm sizes. Provides a barrier for linemen to prevent tie wires from contacting pins or cross arms. Sides are slotted so that guards can be installed over double arming bolts. HA-12012 Cross Arm Guard, Shot Gun Eye HA-12012 SafetyTest Thermoplastic Pole Guards are installed before setting new poles to guard against accidental line contact. They also guard against pole contacts by personnel working in insulating aerial buckets or on platforms.
