GROUND RESISTANCE TESTERS Greenlee Ground Resistance Tester is a Clamp-Onhand-held testing device intended to evaluate grounding systems. It has two modes: Active Mode for measuring resistance and Passive Mode for measuring current. The Active Mode induces a voltage into a conductor and measures the resulting current. It then calculates the resistance. The Passive Mode senses the electromagnetic field surrounding a conductor to determine the current flow. A test resistance loop is provided to perform a quick check of the unit. • Reads ground resistance down to 0.10 • Fully autoranging with data hold to capture readings • Convenient alarm and 99-point memory functions • Measures up to 30A RMS ground or leakage current • Measures currents down to 1mA • Accessories included: (1) 9V battery, molded carrying case, test resistance loop • Lifetime Limited Warranty GR-CMGRT-100 Ground Resistance Tester GR-CMGRT-100 Bierer GRT1000 Ground Resistance Tester is a major breakthrough for a traditional ground resistance tester. The transformer induces a voltage on the conductor while the other transformer provides a current measurement through the loop allowing a resistance measurement to be displayed. It is widely needed in the power, telecommunications, meteorology, oilfield, construction, industrial and electrical utility industry. For a loop grounding system, the operator can measure the ground resistance and test for continuity without having to break down the grounding wire, or use auxiliary electrodes (sometimes referred to as "stakes"). The clamp head is specially designed to reduce calibration errors by increasing the clamp pressure and the robust design of the transformers. Unit comes standard with test clip, instruction manual, padded storage case. BI-GRT1000 Ground Resistance Tester BI-GRT1000 348 Fax: 704•482•7349 TEST INSTRUMENTS
