BLANKET ACCESSORIES Salisbury's Blanket Pins can be effectively used to hold insulating blankets and rubber cover-up in place. Springs are used for tension while extra holes in the body of the pin are used to grip conductors and prevent line hose from sliding. Pins have rubber tips to increase slip resistance. Blanket pins are available in hard wood or fiberglass reinforced nylon. The nylon pins have 5-1/2" opening and tapered ends to allow the pins to fit any brand of clampstick. Available with clip-pin for applications where a 90 degree angle is necessary for install or removal of pin. Replacing the use of rope or bungee cord. The use of tapes are never recommended for the adhesive degrades the insulative properties of the blanket causing early failure. The Klondike Clamp quickly and safely secures blankets in position on pole diameters ranging from 6" through 11" or 11"-20" without damaging the blanket. Molded from a tough weather resistant polymer with all stainless steel hardware the klondike clamp will provide long maintenance free field life. The large jaw opening of the clamp can also be used in a myriad of pad-mounted equipment situations where it is difficult to secure the blanket in position when draping over energized components.
