The tool is feature-rich and has been designed for continuous use. With a newly modified hydraulic system, the tool offers better than industry standard crimp speeds and provides a consistent and secure connection every time. Fixed, scissor-action crimping jaws are available in three standard configurations and accept standard “W” and “X” style dies allowing you to select the variation that best suits your needs. The tool features a large over-molded grip area for advanced comfort, with or without gloves, and the ergonomically balanced design lessens operator fatigue. The tool offers true one-hand operation allowing for advance, retract and hold functions, freeing the other hand to position the conductor and connector for crimping. The 350° rotatable head allows for operation in virtually any position and easier access into tight spaces. The Ram holds position when the trigger is released allowing the operator to check alignment prior to crimping. The CSMD6-LI series also features a safety lock trigger preventing accidental operation of the tool when not in use. The tool is supplied with a high capacity 3.0 AH Makita battery and charger. A one-year limited warranty is offered.
