Introduction Skitter is an app by pet people, for pet people. It provides ample opportunity for new and old pet owners alike to learn more about the specifi c needs of their pet, and an opportunity to save money on supplies in the process.

Logos When utilising the Skitter logo in any form, care must be taken to adhere strictly to brand guidelines. The following pages showcase the Skitter logo in black and white and color, in both black and white environments.

Logo Clear Space When utilising the Skitter logo in any form, care must be taken to adhere strictly to brand guidelines. The Skitter logo must always have a marked amount of clear space.

Typography Skitter maintains a consistent brand presence through uniform use of typography across all of its products. When creating content of any kind for Skitter, brand typography guidelines must be followed.

Skia Black (Titles & Logotype) Aa ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz 123456789 !@#$%^&*() Skia Black is utilized throughout the Skitter brand to denote titles in-app and elsewhere. Its blocky, sans serif look complements the heavy black linework present in the Skitter logo and throughout Skitter illustrations.

Helvetica Bold (Subheadings) Aa ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz 123456789!@#$%^&*() Helvetica bold is utilized throughout the Skitter brand to denote subheadings in-app and elsewhere. Easier to read in bulk than Skia Black, the classic look and feel of Helvetica lends to the modernity of the Skitter brand.

Helvetica Light (Body Copy) Aa ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz 123456789!@#$%^&*() Helvetica Light is utilized throughout the Skitter brand to denote body copy in-app and elsewhere. Its classic look but lighter feel lends to an airy, uncrowded feel throughout Skitter content despite blocks of text.

Color Skitter maintains a consistent brand presence through uniform use of brand colors across all of its products. When creating content of any kind for Skitter, brand color guidelines must be followed.

The branding of Skitter relies on these five colors alone, plus black. Various hues and shades of these colors are used throughout all Skitter content and illustrations.

Illustration Skitter maintains a consistent illustrative style throughout all of its content, in the interest of maintaining its friendly, upbeat, and welcoming identity. Skitter illustrations make use of bold black lines, and bright color.

Copy Writing Skitter maintains a consistent presence and mood by ensuring that all copy written for content of any kind has the same tone of voice and style. This creates a consistent experience for users new and old.

Note: In the case of advertising copy, Skitter’s tone should remain informative but a bit tongue in cheek. Commentary on information provided gives Skitter advertisements a personal feel, and a voice to the thoughts of potential customers viewing them.

App Icons

Advertising Skitter’s advertisements are made to portray the brand as informative, helpful, and approachable. Usage of illustration assists in catching the viewer’s eye.

Stationery Skitter’s letterhead and businesscard maintain its simple, approachable style.

Merchandise Skitter makes full use of the visual language of its illustrations in its merchandise, creating a cute, simple brand that is easy to translate across various products.
