Fashion went through its usual rapid swings. Hemlines moved up and down, hair was long and straight, then short and curly, guys ' heels were tall then short, while girls’ just got higher. Music changed from soft rock to hard, to punk, to disco, to country, and then to the point where you could listen to whatever turned you on.
