preferred to be single [unmarried] just because he wanted to commune with God in an unbroken Fellowship [in simple terms without too much distractions and commitments with many other things]. It should be noted that this does not mean that all those who marry have a loose relationship with God. What this points us to is that we need to incline to the Spiritual aspect rather than the physical while making choices of our spouses, for example, the definitions of the physical are to what the eye can see, what the ear can hear [generally senses] and yet these are too destructive to the Spiritual destiny of one’s life.
