to my feet and a light to my path.”, to this parable we see both “lamps and lights” spoken of which exist by the Word of God, to these virgins when the bridegroom came, the very first consciousness of the foolish ones was that they lacked enough oil to sustain their lamps, and yet to the wise, they bore a certain peace in their spirit when the bridegroom arrived, yet it is not in any way illustrated in Scripture that these foolish virgins got oil when they left to seek after one.
