Scripture tells us that no flesh can inherit or access Heaven; of yet we saw that at His resurrection moments He ate with them [Luke 24:39-45]. It was on this background that Christ the Rock called Peter Cephas meaning “rock” because of the place of the oneness we become with Christ in that we are now inseperable from Him. For the Bible in Isaiah 51:1 tells us to “Look to the rock from which we were hewn and to the hole in the quarry from which we were dug”. Peter found his definition in Christ and it was not viceversa; this is why even David whose throne Christ came to establish for eternity also calls Him Lord; the
