We see that both of them are tagged with the name Jerusalem, however we see that the earthly Jerusalem is in bondage, however to us we are of the heavenly Jerusalem which is free. It is true that the bound son indeed persecuted the free son and the Bible tells us, cast away the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. We see that this is a serious issue, a matter of great concern. GENESIS 21:14-20 says “So Abraham rose early in the morning and took bread and a bottle of water and gave them to Hagar, putting them on her shoulders, and he sent her and the youth away. And she wandered on [aimlessly] and lost her way in the wilderness of Beersheba. When the water in the bottle was all gone, Hagar caused the youth to lie down under one of the shrubs.
