it meant that it finally met One above it, however this was not enough until it was finally crushed at the cross. It should not be regrettable that the great men and women of God in the Old Testament walked in a great power of God doing mighty things however none was able to cast out a demon, however thanks be to God Who through Jesus Christ crushed the devil once and for all at the cross. What did this mean to man, we now see that the coming of Jesus Christ was not only for the deliverance of man from the devil, but also for His salvation through the preaching of the gospel, Paul in ROMANS 1:16 says “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel (good news) of Christ, for it is God`s power working unto salvation [for deliverance from eternal death] to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,” we see that this
