clearly tell us in Matthew 5:17-18 “Don`t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn`t come to destroy, but to fulfill. For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished”. What catches my attention is the place where Christ speaks of firstly the fulfillment of the Law which He did therefore implying that it is now vanishing, as we see that scripture tells us that there is no way a New covenant can be effected while the Old still stands as there must firstly be the discharge of the old before the new is entered into; this was done by Jesus for our sake when indeed no fault was found
