WHAT IS FAITH? Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” One cannot hope for what they see [Romans 8:24], therefore faith is the tangible guarantee leaned on as catalyst for hope. Faith is God’s mind, and when John 4:24 says that God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. This means that worship is a Revelation of Who God is. HOW DOES FAITH COME? ROMANS 10:17 says, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” This means that the word of God causes you to hear and therein faith is built in you. WHAT IS GOD’s MIND CONCERNING FAITH? 3 John 1:2 says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” This means that faith does not only deal with prospering one in all things but as well touches their core which is health. Acts 10:38 says, “How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, Who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” This means that faith brings joy to the world through the Gospel of Jesus Christ which Frees people from all manner of bondage. John 8:32 says, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This means that ignorance is equivalent to bondage, and the Word of God is knowledge enough for one’s Freedom.
