More Affordable Housing, Less Homelessness Affordable housing is one big problem for families with extremely low income. Another problem is not enough affordable housing units. The rent is too high, and the supply is too low. The solution for this big problem is to help the renters to pay rent, give housing subsidies, and build affordable housing in the excess land in the religious organization. Another solution is lowering the limit on how much landlords can raise rents each year. This is a good idea because affordable housing prevents homelessness. Many people in California are homeless because the rent is too high, and they don't have enough money to pay the rent. if these people have these resources less homeless. When families have a safe and affordable place to live, health and well being improve. It is time to take action. The residents need to write an email to the city council or governor for protection of existing renters and homeowners and build more affordable houses to prevent high rent increases and homelessness.
