In short,responsible consumption and production is using our resources efficiently, taking account of ecosystem services that are important for our lives, and reducing dangerous chemicals’ impact. WHY DO WE NEED TO TEACH OUR KIDS ABOUT RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION? Responsible production and consumption is necessary to reduce the negative impact on the climate and the environment, and people’s health.Kids need to understand that our environment can’t survive without our help. Recycling, reusing, and reducing are three key actions in sustainable living.If more kids know about taking care of the environment where they live ,they will be able to have a planet to live in.In the long run, the kids with the concious of responsible production and consumption will be global citizens who care about our planet. HOW CAN WE TEACH OUR KIDS RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION & PRODUCTION? We should explain our kids what will happen to our environment if we do not do anything about it.We must set an example for recycling at home and reuse items our selves before we teach our kids.By doing those things ,we will teach our kids social development, responsibility, problem-solving and creativity. Are our water resources endless? How long will wastes in nature remain in fact? 10. How long will trees grow and what are their benefits for us? Remember that recycling starts at home.Get a recycling bin for your home. Recycle as many things as you can.Make sure that you clean out all recycled materials befor putting them in the cycling box.Do not forget that parents it starts with us.If we teach our kids and do something about responsible production and consumtion it will be naturally part of our lives.
