MercyOne Siouxland ranks sixth in the state and received high performing recognition in heart failure care, COPD, and colon cancer surgery. The annual Best Hospitals rankings are designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive care for challenging health conditions or for common elective procedures. “This recognition is a product of our talented and dedicated physicians, providers and care teams. MercyOne Siouxland Endocrinology Care opens MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center is proud to welcome Losty T. Torres Potter, MD to the MercyOne family and excited to introduce MercyOne Siouxland Endocrinology Care to Siouxland. Dr. Torres Potter’s practice will be based at the medical center at 624 Jones Street, inside the MercyOne specialty care offices of Steven Joyce, MD, Larry Sellers, MD and Daniel Lamptey, MD. Dr. Torres Potter joins MercyOne Siouxland following her stay as Chief Fellow of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Losty T. Torres Potter, MD Metabolism at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in Bronx, New York and her Doctor of Medicine from the Instituto Technologico de Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dr. Torres Potter will be joined by Jackie Kuchta, DNP for the complete care and management of diabetes and other conditions. Dr. Torres Potter has done extensive research on Graves disease, Recurrent Adrenal Crisis, Hashimoto Encephalopathy and several other endocrine case reports.
