With a background in welding and a passion for design, David decided to bring those two elements together and established Overwrought Garden Art. Originally with a focus on making gates, their range has since expanded to now include wall art, garden art, sculptures, signs, furniture, fire pits and much more. David confirms, “My business philosophy is to create and share my beautiful handcrafted Australian made metal garden designs. My work reflects my love of nature and the Australian bush especially its flora and fauna. My business is unique because all our creations are my original designs made using quality Australian steel.” Overwrought Garden Art's extensive collection can be viewed at their Sculpture Garden and Gallery in Blampied (where they also showcase a range of work from other local artists, artisans and makers), online via their website and at selected stockists.
