Behind the Brand LAURA VINCENT timber heart creations Timber Heart Creations is situated in the suburbs of Brisbane and is creator Laura Vincent’s dream job. “From an early age I could often be found working with wood in my Grandpa's shed. I dreamed of having my own space where I could create, lose track of time and make a mess. I took my first resin class in 2018 and was hooked immediately and knew it was something I wanted to follow as a passion. “These days I have my own 'She Shed' in the back garden where I take new and reclaimed timber and lovingly hand make it into beautiful homewares, art, and practical pieces adding a touch of glam with colourful resin.” Timber Heart is timber with soul. Both reclaimed and new wood is utilised, add some vibrant resin and lovingly create practical homeware pieces and decorative art and furniture. Designs include lamps, furniture, centrepieces, platters, lazy-susans and plant stands but custom orders are always welcome. If you can dream it, Laura can undoubtedly make it. “My favourite thing is creating custom pieces tailoring each one to the individual and the occasion. I can make pieces in any shape, style and colour to match my client’s taste. I gift wrap each item, write a note and hand deliver (within the local area).
