Behind the Brand JOSH&SUE GOURMET SELECTION sue campbel l and josh campbel l Josh&Sue Gourmet Selection was established in 2013 by Sue Campbell after her son, Josh, was diagnosed as gluten intolerant. Sue recalls, “There were limited products on the market back then, so having a love of good food and a sales, marketing and product development background I set about creating our gourmet range, using all natural ingredients that were gluten free and focusing on capturing all the natural flavours.” “We launched with three items and set about establishing a sales network of independent stores, delis and small family supermarkets. As our product range grew so did our customer base. Now we have a healthy online business, a strong independent retail following around the country and we are regular stallholders at local markets where we offer samples and sell our range to consumers. Our range now consists of more than 30 items that we sell nationally and internationally via a network of distributors and via our online channel and we have recently launched a range of Eco-Friendly produce bags as we join the fight of working towards zero waste and saying no to plastic.” Australian made and owned, Josh&Sue is handcrafted in Melbourne. The range is all natural, gluten free, mostly vegan and has no nasties including no artificial flavours or colours. It is recognised for being full of flavour and true to label. “Rose Harissa is our best seller. It was launched in 2014 after a trip to London where Jamie Oliver had one in his range. Rose Harissa is featured as a key ingredient in some of the hottest cookbooks right now. Ours is award-winning receiving a silver medal at the 2018 royal Hobart fine food awards and a bronze medal at the 2018 Australian food awards.
