Behind the Brand HELLO RED HEN antoinette tannous Antoinette started Hello Red Hen in 2017 after the birth of her 3 children. Starting with wool felt ball décor, Hello Red Hen has slowly expanded to include personalised items, gifts, holiday items, hair accessories and even cake toppers. “I have always been a creative person, the product of my mother’s creative influence, and Hello Red Hen has been in the making for a long time but it was never the ‘right’ time”, says Antoinette. “I wanted to create a product that would bring colour and joy into people’s lives whilst still being able to care for my children. To create a product that can be used to brighten a room, as party décor, to bring some Yuletide cheer at Christmas and even jazz up some gift wrap”. Hello Red Hen loves to receive special product requests. Whether it be a special colour combination or something totally different to their regular products, Antoinette goes above and beyond to meet the customers need to ensure their shopping experience is a memorable one. The wool felt balls used by Hello Red Hen are hand rolled by artisans in Nepal and are 100% sheep wool with no nasties. Particularly important as the products can adorn kids rooms and nurseries. Antoinette also proudly told us that: "at Hello Red Hen we care for the planet, and are slowly converting all our packaging options to recycled and re usable, sourcing local to support other small businesses."
