LA PICKLEBALL By Mark McDuff The LA Pickleball Association, LAPA, is hosting a potluck and “funday” at the HFC on Saturday, September 6, beginning at 12:30. LAPA is providing tableware, but bring your own drinks. Bring your favorite dish to share. Bring your paddle and a small skinny pool noodle for the fun games we have planned. If you play pickleball, or want to start playing pickleball, you should consider joining LAPA. It only costs $12 a year. Membership forms can be found in the HFC at the club’s bulletin board location. Place your form and payment in the drop box at the same location. FRIENDLY BOCCE GROUP By Stephanie Iszak We would like to invite all Lake Ashton residents to come out on Mondays and Fridays from 10 am to 1 pm to play some fun games of Bocce Ball. No experience is required. Anyone who is playing would be more than happy to teach you and go over the Lake Ashton Friendly Bocce Ball rules and regulations.
