It is wonderful to see so many familiar faces returning, and we look forward to an exciting lineup of upcoming events! Getting involved in community events opens the door to all kinds of benefits, specially building social connections. These gatherings are a great chance to meet new friends, strengthen bonds with neighbors, and truly feel part of the community. Participating can ease loneliness, boost your mood, and add a spark of enjoyment to your daily routine. When we join in, we create lasting memories that enrich both our individual lives and the community. Do not miss the fun. Be sure to check out all the activities at the HFC and Clubhouse! Mark your calendar for a special evening with the Josh Blevins Band at the HFC on September 12 at 7 pm, and for even more fun, Lake Ashton’s house band, Perfect Pitch, is having a dance party on September 26 at 7 pm. You can reserve a table in advance by stopping at the HFC Activities Desk and pay at the door for both dances. Join us for an informative seminar on Artificial Intelligence (AI), beginning at 1pm, on September 23 in the HFC Community Center. The speaker is Rebecca Player, IT & Building Services Librarian for the Winter Haven Library, part of Parks, Recreation & Culture for Winter Haven. Sign up for this seminar at the HFC Activities Desk through Monday at noon on the 22nd of September. Keep an eye on the digital bulletin boards, wall kiosk and emails so you stay up to date on all the happenings. For more information, visit lakeashton2cdd.org. 10
