LAPAC FALL FUN & CORN MAZE By Cheryl Winchester Fall is coming faster than we think. LAPAC (Lake Ashton Performing Arts Corp.) is holding a giant corn maze along with other exciting activities. CHRISTMAS DINNER DANCE By Debby Landgrebe & Lynn Shelton Here’s hoping everyone has been enjoying the summer and while it’s still pretty warm outside, let’s start thinking of cooler temperatures and ‘that wonderful time of the year.’ Please be sure you mark the calendar for the beautiful FROSTED CRYSTAL CHRISTMAS DINNER DANCE planned for Friday, December 9 in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Music will be provided by B.Haven, one of Central Florida's premier bands. A catered buffet dinner includes a Beef Carving Station, Chicken Cordon Bleu, Vegetable Lasagna, along with the sides we enjoy so 29 CALLING ALL CRAFTERS! The LA Purple Stars, your Relay For Life Team, will be sponsoring a booth selling hand crafted items at the December 14 Lake Ashton Bi-Monthly Market. 100% of the proceeds of all donated items sold will go to the American Cancer Society. Items are needed to fill the booth. If you have a craft you enjoy, please consider making one to donate, and share this info with your crafty friends. There are a limited amount of supplies available to share if needed. The Purple Stars will also be contacting businesses in the area, asking for donations.
