LALGA By Beverly Hines It’s that time of year again. LALGA’s fiscal year is November 1 through October 31. Therefore, annual dues of $35 for LALGA membership should be paid by check to LALGA and sent to the Treasurer, Lynne Abbott, along with a completed Membership form (available on the LA Living website under LALGA Golf or at the Pro Shop). Forms and checks may also be left at the Pro Shop for Lynne. Members must have an established handicap and have paid their dues before she can participate in any LALGA activity. Players whose handicap is 40 or less are eligible to be members of the LALGA. New members who have paid her dues but has no established handicap may play in LALGA events. However, she is not eligible for prize money until her handicap is established. New members will be assigned a mentor to help them get acclimated, so come join the fun and play some golf! Starting in November, LALGA members will have the opportunity to sign up for weekly golf events and tournaments via the LA Living website https:// lakeashtonliving.com/ Members will need to log-in to the website, click on Community, click on Golf, then click on LALGA Golf Registration (click on arrows and not words when on a mobile device). Select the date from the calendar for the event and the appropriate tees then select Register. It is that easy. Instructions for registration are also available on the LA Living website under LALGA Golf. For additional information or help, contact any of the LALGA Board Members or Iris Realmuto, LA Living website administrator, info@LakeAshtonLiving.com For those who don’t have Internet access or just don’t like online registration, the current method of registration will still be available at the Pro Shop.
