LA ROCKERS By Annie Lutz Since our snowbird members are starting to return, we are back to our regular schedule. Our latest class featured three paint pouring techniques and everyone enjoyed getting a little messy. These rocks are perfect for adding messages to spread kindness and bring a smile to our community. LA Rockers meet in the HFC Community Room from 1 to 3 pm on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month. The 1st Wednesday meeting is for current members to learn new skills and techniques. We resumed our normal schedule, so there will be a new lesson on October 2 for current members. The 3rd Wednesday is a “Free Paint and Newcomers Session”. Newcomers are welcome to come and give the group a try! Newcomers will be lent the supplies they need for their first session so you must contact MJ Richards (mjmrichards517@gmail.com) at least five days before their first meeting so that supplies can be provided. If you are lucky enough to find a rock, please post a photo of your rock on Talk of Lake Ashton’s (TOLA) Facebook page. It means a lot for us to see where our rocks go. ATTN. HOGAN LOOPERS!
