JEWISH HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES By David Harrison The Lake Ashton community is invited to attend the Jewish High Holiday services. Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) will be Wednesday, October 2 at 7 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) will be Friday October 11 at 7 pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Yizkor (Memorial Service) will also be Friday, following the Yom Kippur Service. All residents are encouraged to attend and find out why the New Year is celebrated in October. Registration is closed but residents are invited to come view the event October 9 beginning at 9 am at the Clubhouse Dog Park. Seating will be available for participants. If you are a participant and will need help getting crate/cage into the dog park area, you will have priority car/cart parking by the front entrance gate, where you will be assisted with the container at the 9 am time slot. ELECTRIC VEHICLE SHOW By Kathie Sutherland Celebrate Florida Climate Week and come learn about the cost, health, and climate benefits of electric vehicles on October 9 from 11 am to 3 pm at the Clubhouse West Parking Lot. Owners of various makes and models will showcase their cars, answer your questions, and share their enthusiasm. Mythbusting information and a drawing for prizes will add to the fun.
