LA ROCKERS By Connie Strassberg LA Rockers are busy painting rocks to welcome new neighbors, to satisfy bi-monthly group challenges, and to hide throughout Lake Ashton and bring smiles to the faces of friends and neighbors. Looking forward to seeing more of you at the in-person meetings as snowbirds return to Lake Ashton. They are are held every other week in the HFC Community Center Wednesdays from 2 to 4 pm. Alice Mayer, the leader and founder, will be back in LA and is preparing to teach everyone new painting techniques. In addition, other talented artists in our group will share their knowledge and help others. Upcoming meetings will be held on October 6 and 20. Newcomers and those who haven't attended meetings in a while are always welcome to join the fun and share in the camaraderie — and it’s free!
