CLUBS LA BELLES By Noreen Guy At September's luncheon the LA Belles members voted in the new Board for the upcoming year 2022. Congratulations and welcome, ladies! Because of you the LA Belles will continue the luncheon get together with friends and those friends yet to come. It's been a fun ride meeting and greeting all of you. Be sure to mark your calendar for the holiday party which will be held at the Southern Dunes Gulf and Country Club on November 24 at noon. A Secret Santa gift exchange worth no more than $15 will be shared. Let the festivities begin! CREATIVE QUILTERS By Marsha Martin The Creative Quilters, formerly Creative Stitchers, meets in the HFC Craft room every Tuesday from 1 to 3 pm. Quilters with all abilities, from novice to advanced, meet to discuss all things related to quilting. Members work on either their own project or several times a year there are group projects. CAMERA CLUB By Larry Hillock Fall has arrived and hopefully so has lower humidity and cooler temperatures allowing all to enjoy the outdoors more comfortably. Activities appear to be returning to more normal times, so dust off that camera and do a little exploring. Wild life activity is beginning to pick-up here at Lake Ashton as well Circle Bar B Reserve, both are ideal places to capture some great pictures. Bring a few of those pictures to share with other photography enthusiasts at the November 8 Camera Club meeting. Club membership is open to all Lake Ashton residents, with meetings held on the second Monday of the month at 10:30 AM in the clubhouse cinema. Please come and join and don't forget to bring those photos on a USB drive to share. Club activities will include such things as guest speakers and off site photo shoots. DUPL ICATE BRIDGE By Don Fuller Duplicate Bridge players compete on Mondays from 12:45 pm to approximately 3:30pm in the Clubhouse Ballroom. Players of all abilities and experience are welcome.
